Swadlincote fire crew were called out to an incident in Woodville where a man was trapped under machinery.
It happened in Swadlincote Road at around 10.20 on Monday morning - and the crew reported they extricated the man and assisted East Midlands Ambulance Service with the casualty before making the scene safe.
Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood and the Crime Action team staged an early morning drugs raid in Castle Gresley on Sunday.
Police executed a drugs warrant at an address in Station Street.

Swadlincote Blue fire crew were called to help the ambulance service gain entry to a house in Church Gresley where a woman had fallen and broken her leg.
The incident happened at a property in Chestnut Green but East Midlands Ambulance Service were unable to get into the property.
