Teenager charged with murder and attempted murder following death of Benjamin Orton in Swadlincote last month

A teenager has been charged in connection with the death of Benjamin Orton in Swadlincote last month.
The 17-year-old had previously been charged with assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.
Derbyshire Constabulary report that he was arrested this morning (Wednesday 7 July) and has been charged with murder and attempted murder.
He was due to appear before magistrates later today.
Two other boys, aged 16 and 17, have also previously been charged with murder and attempted murder.
They have been remanded into custody until a trial which is expected to be in November.
The three boys cannot be named for legal reasons due to their age.
Officers were called to reports of an assault in an alleyway at the side of the Odeon cinema, in Coppice Side, Swadlincote, just before 10.40pm on Saturday 12 June. Two Swadlincote youths in court after Benjamin Orton death.
Benjamin (17), who was from the town, died at the scene. He had suffered stab wounds.
A 20-year-old man was also found with serious, and potentially life changing injuries.
Police are urging anyone with information who has not yet come forward to contact them.
