Police reported damage cause to the play area in Eureka Park today (Sunday).

Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team posted photos on Twitter of the what had happened in the part of the park meant for children.

Officers also said they would on the lookout for those who might have caused the damage and might need 'instructions' on how to use the equipment.

Swadlincote SNT's post says: "Eureka Park, after someone thought it was a good idea to damage the equipment.

"We will be keeping our eyes peeled over the next few days for those of you who need instructions on how to use the play equipment."
