Swadlincote Police have given an update on the animals rescued from a farm in Newhall earlier this month.]

Police the farm where the animals were described as living in 'appalling' conditions.

Animals given urgent treatment after police raid.

Since then, Swadlincote's Safer Neighbourhood Team say they have had offers of help from all over the country.

But a post on the SNT Facebook page says: "All the animals seized on 20/08/21 are making a good recovery.

"The team visited Crowfoot Kennels to see the pups and give them some treats.

"We have been inundated with requests from all over the country and abroad from the public offering money for their treatment, free grooming, shelter and to adopt them.

"Sorry no decision has been made regarding this.

"Not to disappoint our public totally, we have taken some pictures of the Lurcher cross pups and German Shepherds that need re-homing.

"If you wish donate towards the welfare of all the pups recovered this week or adopt any please contact. Crowfoot Kennels, Church Broughton, Derbyshire, Tel: 01283 585510, [email protected]."
