Swadlincote Surgery has reminded the public that they are no allowed to visit without phoning first.
The numbers allowed into the Darklands Road building is limited.
The Surgery says no-one should simply drop in with Covid-19 measures still in place.
A post on the Surgery's Facebook page reads: "We have started to get patients coming into the surgery for avoidable reasons, such as dropping off letters or to book appointments.
"For the protection of our staff and patients, it is vital that we continue to limit the number of people entering the building.
"Please DO NOT come to the surgery without phoning first.
"All appointments must be booked by phone, and paperwork should be posted whenever possible. Our website allows patients to submit change of address details, request a medication review, etc.
"The majority of our appointments involve a telephone assessment with a clinician first, which may then be followed by a face to face attendance if needed.
"Our clinicians also carry out video consultations and may ask patients to submit photographs, when appropriate, to aid diagnosis and treatment.
"The pharmacy continues to operate a one in, one out policy.
"Masks should be worn when inside the building. Thank you for your patience during these difficult times."
