Swadlincote Fire Crew Called Out To Coalville Bungalow Blaze On Friday Morning

A fire broke out in a bungalow in Coalville this morning (Friday) with crews from Ashby and Swadlincote called to the blaze.

The incident happened at Western Avenue and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service reported that a call was made by a neighbour at 8.22am.

But it was also reported that all persons had been accounted for.

One appliance from Coalville, a tactical Response Vehicle from Coalville, and Appliance from Ashby and one from Swadlincote attended the fire.

An update from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Four breathing apparatus,

two hose reel jets and one covering jet in use to extinguish the fire.

"Fire is now extinguished and breathing apparatus withdrawn.

"Fire crews are ventilating the property using the positive pressure ventilation fan.

"All persons are accounted for."
