A police helicopter was called out over Swadlincote and Woodville on Tuesday night.

It was used to track down two 'high-risk' missing persons.

And a Tweet from the Swadlincote Response Unit has given an explanation.

It reads: 'You may have heard the police helicopter hovering above Swadlincote and Woodville last night.

'This was due to two separate high risk missing persons.

'Both have now been found safe and well.'
