Police clamp down on anti-social behaviour and Covid rule breakers in Swadlincote town centre

Swadlincote Police seized e-scooters from youths causing anti-social behaviour on Civic Way on Saturday evening.
The group were also 'dealt with' for breaking lockdown regulations.
A post on the Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team Facebook page reads: "The team had a busy start to the shift with several youths causing ASB on Civic Way.
"The youths had their e-scooters seized and will be dealt with for Covid breach.
"Parents, we have to abide by the Covid regulations.
"The team are on till midnight (Saturday) and have also patrolled around Swadlincote today as part of OP Derbyshire.
"Rosliston forestry centre and Maurice Lea memorial park have been patrolled today by PCSO Spalding and PCSO Edwards.
"We will also also be actioning the parking issues raised by our community as requested in the coming days."
