The Eureka Park 'Party in the Park' Music and Food Festival is scheduled to take place on July 11.

The event is a six-hour long festival (10.30am-4.30pm) being staged at the Swadlincote venue.

And the organisers say it is a free event designed to be a fun, family event staged as we emerge from lockdown.

The event website says: "We are back with an almighty bang, ready to bring you more of what made you happy.

"We have lots more music for you all throughout the day.

"New breakthrough artists performing just for you.

"Lots of food and drink stalls to tempt your senses and our fabulous home brewed beers and ciders to wash them all down.

"We will have Cider, Ale, Gin Prosecco, Pimm's and lots more so come and try them to see which you prefer.

"The foods we have for you are some of the tastiest traders out there and are all handpicked especially, so there is a wide variety to choose from.

"We will have the fabulous craft marquee with lots of not on the Highstreet stalls and new exhibitors bringing their amazing products for you to try.

"There will be the ever-popular reptile section as well as the fun dog show which proved so popular, we were asked to bring it back again.

"What's more, the event is FREE and always will be."
