Crown Kickboxing Online Training From Swadlincote

We moved into our new premises just one year ago and have worked hard to keep our business growing and offering new and exciting classes for our students.

I have always loved my job and it has been great to see our martial arts academy grow and see our students succeed.

We run lots of events for our students, like community demonstrations and charity events – so far we've raised more than £20,000 for local charities through our Kick 4 Cause fight nights.

We had just started our latest Kick 4 Cause fight night training when we had to make the difficult decision to close the doors on Friday 20th March due to the Coronavirus. It was a tough decision and although we're only closing temporarily, it was so important to me to make sure that my students could still access their training.

Martial Arts can be a really important activity for children and adults alike. Not only can it help to improve fitness and health, it also helps maintain good mental health and is a great social activity.

I knew I had to do something to ensure that the community could still access martial arts and fitness training, even if it had to be from the safety of their living room.

So, with the help of the Crown Kickboxing team, we've been able to set up an online training system so people can train safely and even get their family involved too!

The response we've had has been has been phenomenal and we have had so much support and positive feedback from the community.

People are joining in daily and we've been receiving videos from people across the area – aged from 3 years all the way up to 77 year olds, all having fun and joining in with the training videos.

But it's not just the training videos that we're getting a great response from. We're also running quizzes, competitions and challenges to keep up the sense of unity and working together. We're getting new people approaching us every day wanting to get involved and knowing that we are bringing some joy to families across the area and helping them to stay fit and healthy during this difficult time, has been really rewarding for the team.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has helped to support us on what has been a huge undertaking to get this up and running and a success in such a short amount of time.

We've got lots of exciting content to put up over the next few weeks to make staying at home all that little bit easier and we can't wait to get everyone involved.

If anyone would like to join in and take part in our online training group, please do get in touch either on Facebook or by visiting www.crownkickboxing.co.uk and contacting us directly.
