Vehicle windows are smashed by people throwing ball bearings in Swadlincote area

A number of vehicles in the Swadlincote area have been damaged by people throwing ball bearings.

Swadlincote Police's Safer Neighbourhood Team have released a number of photos showing smashed windows of vehicles that have been on the receiving end.

They say one incident happened in Castle Gresley this week.

The SNT said: "We have recently received reports of vehicle windows being smashed by ball bearings in the Swadlincote area and believe some of these incidents have been unreported.

"One of the incidents occurred on May 18 between approx. 6-6.30pm on Castle Road, Castle Gresley.

"If you witnessed this incident or have any information on these incidents please contact us quoting 21*274617."
