Thieves make off with 20 spinning bikes from leisure centre in Swadlincote

More than 20 spinning bikes have been stolen from Green Bank Leisure Centre in Swadlincote.

Derbyshire Police say It is believed the bikes were taken some time during the most recent lockdown period, as it was noticed they were missing when the centre re-opened in April.

The bikes, by Keiser, were last used on December 30, 2020.

Officers have been carrying out inquiries and would like to speak to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity around the centre, or with any information on where they might be.

A spokesperson for Derbyshire Police said: "If you've noticed the bikes for sale or if you have any information which could help, please contact us on the non-emergency details below.

"Please quote reference 21*201251 and the name of the officer in the case, PC Becky Thompson.
