Swadlincote teenager Caitlin Wright has been found safe and well in Birmingham following a nationwide appeal.

The 14-year-old went missing on Sunday after taking a train from Burton to Birmingham.

She was missing for almost two days and Police issued photos of Caitlin in a bid to track her down.

It is thought she went to the West Midlands to meet a boy she had befriended on Snapchat.

But with Swadlincote Police convinced that Caitlin was in the West Midlands, they concentrated their efforts there.

Derbyshire Police reported this morning that Caitlin had been found and thanked everyone who shared the appeal.
