Swadlincote Surgery Jumper Day Raises Money For Local Foodbank

By Graham Hill

Swadlincote Surgery staff raised over £100 from a Christmas Jumper Day.

The funds cane in from staff donations at the event held earlier this month, says a post on the surgery's Facebook page.

Reception Manager Michelle Harris used the money to do a 'big shop' for the local foodbank on the surgery's behalf.

The post ends: "We hope the items purchased will bring joy to local families who are in need this Christmas."
