Swadlincote Police want to speak to group of people who tried to break into McDonald's in the early hours of Saturday morning.

They have issued a CCTV photo of the people involved and say they were also breaking Covid-19 rules well as causing anti-social behaviour.

A post on the Swadlincote Safer Neighourhood Team's Facebook page says: "NO REASON TO BEHAVE LIKE THIS… WE WILL IDENTIFY YOU AND WE WILL BE KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR …

"Please see the attached photos from McDonald's, Civic Way, on March 20 at 01:56 in the morning.

"Some individuals thought it would be okay to be ripping up McDonald's posters, and trying to gain entry to the building via the front doors and spitting all over the windows.

"You are also breaching Covid 19 regulations.

"Are they people you recognise? If so please PM us on Facebook in confidence."
