Swadlincote Police stopped this Audi on Tuesday due to a badly cracked windscreen.

The visibility for the driver was so bad that the town's Safer Neighbourhood Team stepped in to check the vehicle.

They posted on their Facebook page: "PC Saddington came across this Audi today whilst out on patrol.

"We're not convinced that this driver has a clear view of the road.

"Please think before you drive."

The post also explained the Team's day, including another cannabis grow and people using drugs in local parks.

Their message continued: "The Chuckles are on and have been collecting more cannabis.

"This time, it was from people on Newhall and Woodville Parks.

"They then assisted with a small grow located by our section cops."

As their trademark sense of humour was in evidence again as they added: "For the information of our normal cannabis post followers, we will not be running the shared, liked, win competition this time!"

The SNT also added: "The afternoon shift have spent the majority of their time assisting section searching for a vulnerable missing person."
