A Swadlincote police officer had a reunion with the his first 'find' as a PSCO.

He started his career in the town with a car that had no insurance.

And - some time later - he spotted the same car, and had it seized for driving offences.

The Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team Facebook page explains how 'Robin' had a case of deja vu.

They posted: "Many moons ago, a baby Robin started his PCSO career by finding a car with no insurance.

Today, a slightly more grown-up Robin saw a very familiar car driving on the road.

"On closer inspection, he found that it was the same car and the same driver!

"The driver was spoken to and it was found that she only had a provisional licence and was unsupervised whilst driving.

"Her excuse of using the car just because it was raining didn't fly with Robin...

"To celebrate the reunion, the car was seized and PC Wheldon reported the driver for driving otherwise in accordance with a licence and for driving without insurance."
