Swadlincote Police list a string of anti-social behaviour offences in the town centre - and say problem has got worse

Swadlincote Police have listed a string of anti-social behaviour offences - after an increase in incidents committed in the town.
These include, cinema staff being threatened, dangerous riding of e-scooters, throwing bricks and tiles off roofs and starting fires.
Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team say they will be stepping up patrols in the area and habve already dealt with some of the offenders.
A social media post says: "We have had an increase in Anti-Social Behaviour mainly around the Pipeworks, Odeon, Peacocks Roof, Costa Coffee and Morrison Link.
- Staff threatened at the Odeon.
- Riding around on E-Scooters, "nearly hitting people" on High Street. Riding the e-scooters inside businesses and outside.
- Criminal damage of the lift at Morrison's Link.
- Throwing bricks and tiles off the roof at Peacocks, on to High Street.
- Setting fires on the Pipeworks to the bushes using a lighter and spray.
"The team are increasing their patrols, working with local businesses and SDDC to identify the offenders via CCTV.
"We will take positive action against anyone identified and seize their e-scooters.
"Some of the offenders have been identified and are being dealt with, the parents were shocked at their child's behaviour.
"Expect that knock on the door!"
