Swadlincote Police Find Stolen Car After Early Hours Theft In Newhall

A BMW was stolen from a property in Newhall in the early hours of this morning (Monday)] has now been found.

Swadlincote police had issued an appeal and a photo of the vehicle.

They were asking people to inform them if they see it parked up in the area.

A post on the Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team's Facebook page reads: "Early hours of this morning an orange BMW 2 series has been stolen from Brookhouse Mews, Newhall, Swadlincote.

"The vehicle is likely to be parked up in a residential area waiting to see if a tracker is fitted to it.

"The vehicle may also be on false plates.

"Any sightings of the vehicle, please get in touch with us quoting 20*619120 / 89-231120."

But an update on Monday afternoon said the car had now been recovered.
