Swadlincote Police make arrest after drugs raid on town property

Swadlincote Police raided a house in Hill Street this morning (Monday) and arrested the occupant.

Officers were joined by a Local Policing unit in an operation that was described as 'Taking drugs off the streets of Swadlincote'.

A post on the Swadlincote Police Safer Neighbourhood Team's Facebook page reads: "Swadlincote SNT and group 2 LPU officers have been out this morning executing a drug warrant at Hill Street, Swadlincote.

"The occupant of the address was arrested for Conspiracy to supply drugs and remains in custody.

"Class B Drugs, cash, scales and mobiles phones were recovered from the address."
