Swadlincote crews called out to weekend Newhall fire

Swadlincote fire crews were called out to a chimney fire in Newhall on Saturday afternoon.

They were able to extinguish the fire and Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service issued the following message online after the incident.

It read: "Crews from Swadlincote attended a chimney fire on The Leys, Newhall.

"Crews have now extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet."
