Police Issue Fresh Appeal And Release New Photos in Hunt For Missing Swadlincote Girl

  • Police issue full description of missing teenager

Police are "very concerned" for the safety of missing Swadlincote teenager Caitlin Wright after the search for the 14-year-old moved into a second day.

Derbyshire constabulary have today issued new photographs in an attempt to find her.

Caitlin was last seen near Primark in Burton town centre at 11.30am on Sunday.

It is thought Caitlin may have travelled to Birmingham, 28 miles away, and Derbyshire Police is appealing for information about her whereabouts.

She is described as white, of medium build, with long blonde hair.

She was wearing a red, white and blue hoodie, black jogging bottoms, a black bandana as a headband, and white trainers. Caitlin also wears a black nose ring.

Anyone who has seen Caitlin, or knows of her whereabouts, is asked to contact us quoting reference number 682 of 29 December.
