Police Issue 'Don't Drug Drive' Message: Motorist Arrested in Hartshorne

A motorist was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs in Hartshorne on Monday night - and his three passengers made to walk home.

Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit Tweeted they had stopped a car 'cruising the back lanes'

They Unit reported that, of the four in the car, one was arrested.

The Unit posted: "Hartshorne, Swadlincote. Cruising the back lanes, four up 'just going for a drive'.

"That's fine as long as you're not under the influence of drugs, detected by

@DrugWipeUK

"One arrested, three walking home. #Fatal4 #DontDrugDrive."
