A Walk and Talk event is being planned for Swadlincote Woodlands next Tuesday (May 11).

It is being organised by Ashby, Coalville and Swadlincote National Childbirth Trust and is a free event although pre-booking is essential.

The organisers say: "Weather permitting, please join us at our next Walk & Talk to be held at Swadlincote Woodlands - part of the National Forest - for a gentle walk around the site and up to the pond and back.

"This 80-acre park offers free car parking and plenty of buggy friendly footpaths to follow.

"As with all our Walk & Talks, this event is free of charge however booking is essential in order to keep adult numbers within government restrictions.

"To book please follow this link HERE

"Booking is a two-stage process. Once registered you will be sent an initial email with a link personal to you.

"Please follow the link to then select the number of tickets you wish to reserve. Once again please note, you will not be charged to attend this event."
