Measham Car Boot will re-open this Sunday after being given the go-ahead by North West Leicestershire District Council.
A planned re-opening earlier this month did not go ahead after the Council stepped in over safety concerns Measham Carboot reopening is postponed
But now the event has been given permission to return - with a number of measures in place to make sure social distancing and hygiene is maintained.
And there will be limits on the amount of buyers and sellers.
North West Leicestershire District Councillor Andrew Woodman, Portfolio Holder for Community Services, said: "Following concerns raised by residents, we're happy to confirm that after a thorough and robust risk assessment was completed, Measham car boot will open this Sunday.
"We'd like to thank the event organisers for working with us to ensure the car boot can open safely, and it's great to have another North West Leicestershire business back open.
"There will be a number of measures in place to ensure everyone's safety and the numbers of sellers and buyers will be strictly limited and controlled.
"Whether you are visiting a car boot, market or newly re-opened shops, it's really important we continue to follow the social distancing guidance and wash hands regularly. Let's support our open businesses and control the virus."
A message on the Measham Carboot website says: "Measham Carboot finally reopens Sundaym 21st June, 2020 and will be open every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, weather Permitting. No booking required.
"We have more than satisfied and surpassed all government safety requirements and reopen with their blessing.
"Safety precautions, including a one-way system and hand sanitiser stations, will be in place to protect our visitors and staff."
