Gresley Old Hall will be hosting a Ghost Hunt next month.

And the organisers say that the location is 'highly' active.

The hunt will take place at the Swadlincote venue on Friday, April 10 and it is a venue that is already well known for its paranormal leanings.

Beyond This World ghost hunting events are hosting the event.

Just over four years ago, investigators believed they have caught video evidence of the ghost of a Victorian maid who was burned to death in a house fire.

The footage taken at Gresley Old Hall appeared to show a haunting figure appear in front of a white wall before floating towards the camera and disappearing.

It was claimed the 'ghost' a lady in her 60s who burned to death in a house fire during the Victorian era.

Medium, Ian Griffiths, and a TV crew caught the footage while investigating the 16th Century farmhouse.

Ian said at the time: "I could see a woman with dark hair in a bun, she had a white flowing dress that looked like it was from the Victorian era."

The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets, priced £18, are available from the Beyond This World Website
