Around £3,000 worth of items were stolen from the Garden King Garden Centre in Newhall on Saturday night.
The store only re-opened on Wednesday under new Government guidelines following the lifting of some of the lockdown restrictions Garden King to re-open with social distancing rules in place
But it only took four days for the Park Road centre to be targeted by thieves.
Garden King manager Darren Sanders told Swadlincote Nub News on Sunday that it was mainly water features that were stolen.
And the store has already made an appeal for the general public to look out for the items.
They have also invited people to 'name and shame' if they know anything.
Darren said: "There was probably about £3,000 worth of items taken, mainly water features.
"We haven't had a good look at the cameras yet, we were busy here straight away, I'll have to have a look at them tonight.
"It will be on camera. The water features have been outside for the past two years and we haven't had a problem before."
The store posted an angry Facebook message on Sunday morning which read: "So, last night we were broken into.
'If you are offered a cheap water feature or any of the other items shown in the pictures then they were stolen from us last night."
The message also makes reference to the fact that store staff have been working hard this month to re-open for customers again.
The post added: "They made a mess and have undone all the hard work we have done this past two weeks.
"But you will have been caught on CCTV coming in and out of the main gate.
"Your details will be posted on here.
"Meanwhile if anyone knows who did or offered one of these items please name and shame."
The store was open for business again on Sunday despite the raid.
