Council Will Return For Uncollected Bins In These Areas Next Week

South Derbyshire District Council has told residents in Woodville and Hartshorne their bins will be collected next week.

Snowy conditions meant they could not be emptied last week.

The Council posted that they should be collected this Monday.

The post reads: "Our crews have been out to collect bins missed earlier in the week because of the bad weather. In addition to our earlier update, they also haven't been able to collect bins in the following areas:

  • Sorrel Drive Estate, Woodville
  • Newton Solney, Hartshorne.
  • Hartshorne
  • Overseal
  • Linton
  • Acresford
  • Coton-in-the-Elms
  • Grangewood
  • Lullington
  • Netherseal
  • Cauldwell
  • Catton
  • Drakelow
  • Rosliston
  • Walton-on-Trent.

"They also haven't been able to complete green bin collections because of the icy road and pavement conditions.

"If your bin hasn't been emptied, the crews will return on Monday, January.4 Please make sure your bin is out for 6am on Monday morning."
