Coronavirus Outbreak: These Swadlincote Events Have Been Cancelled

South Derbyshire District Council has listed the Swadlincote events that have had to be called off due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

This includes the Great British Spring Clean which was to have taken place later this month.

The list of cancellations reads as follows:

• The Future of South Derbyshire – Schools and Businesses Together – Enterprise Adviser Network, Tuesday 24 March is cancelled

• Swadlincote Town Centre – Great British Spring Clean - Wednesday 25 March is cancelled

• Open Mic on The Delph on Saturday 28 March is cancelled

• Swadlincote Job Opportunities Day - on Tuesday 31 March is cancelled

The Council says it will give updates on its website South Derbyshire District Council with information on any future cancellations or changes.

What Swad Needs To Know

The Finance and Management Committee meeting due to take place tonight (Thursday) has been postponed after consultation with the council's leader and the leader of the opposition group.
