Coronavirus: New Swadlincote Covid-19 Assessment Facility Is Completed

James Dean Events says it has now finished building the Corvid-19 Assessment in Swadlincote.

And the Woodville-based company - who donated its festival equipment to the NHS for free - posted a photo of the site on its Facebook page on Thursday.

It was announced on Tuesday that the facility would be set up in Swadlincote Swadlincote to get Covid-19 Assessment Facility and work moved quickly from then on Work starts on new Swadlincote facility as the country fights the Coronavirus outbreak which has put the country on hold.

An array of large tents has been constructed the site next to the bus station, off Civic Way, over the past few days, and the assessment area is due to open to the public on Friday, April 10.

James Dean Events posted the following message on Facebook: "We have now finished building a Corvid-19 assessment centre in South Derbyshire using our donated festival equipment.

"We would like to also say a massive thank you to the following for their help:

  • Pollards Fruit and Veg
  • TW Wholesale
  • Suma Containers
  • David Stanley Transport
  • Mainline Group
  • Swadlincote Post Office

"And all the 100's of companies and individuals that have sent us messages offering free goods and services at this NHS Assessment Site in Swadlincote. #staysafe"
