Swadlincote Snowsports Centre is offering beginner ski-ing lessons for those who want to hit the slopes without flying out to the Alps.

And spaces still available for this Saturday's session.

Lessons cost £20 per adult or £16 per junior and you can book by calling to get booked in.

The centre also offers group lessons with Friends or Family and there is also the chance to ride the 'Only Cresta Run Toboggan in the Midlands'.

Opening times are Monday-Friday 10:00-22.00; Saturday and Sunday 10:00-18:00 and the centre is situated on Sir Herbert Wragg Way, DE11 8LP.
