The company building the Woodville-Swadlincote Regeneration Route is bringing its annual community day to the area tomorrow (Thursday).

Entitled 'A Positive Impact on Everything we Touch', constructor nmcn is building the new road on behalf of Derbyshire County Council.

And tomorrow (June 3) staff from both nmcn and Derbyshire County Council will be joining the on-site team for a litter pick along the Regeneration Route and the surrounding area.

nmcn's Senior Project Manager Paul Devine said: "This litter pick is a great way to demonstrate our commitment to having a positive impact on the local area around our works.

"As a company we strive to improve the communities that we work in, and events like this bring added value to the works we undertake."
