Vehicle 'pushed on to the kerb' and left with smashed rear window in overnight collision: Swadlincote Police make appeal for witnesses

Swadlincote Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident which saw a car being pushed on to the kerb by a larger vehicle overnight (Thursday/Friday).
But the driver who collided with the car did not stop or report it.
The incident happened in Church Gresley and a small Fiat has been pictured after it was damaged - with the rear window apparently smashed.
The collision happened Thorpe Downs Road and Swadlincote's Safer Neighbourhood Team posted an appeal on social media today (Friday).
Their message says: "We are looking for witnesses to a non-stop collision on Thorpe Downs Road, Church Gresley through the night or this morning.
"The vehicle pictured has been hit at the rear and pushed onto the kerb by what looks like a larger vehicle.
"The offending vehicle will likely have damage to the front driver's side.
"If you have any information regarding this, please contact us quoting 22*25137."
