Swadlincote Police report takeaway driver after attention was alerted by music blaring and blue lights

Swadlincote Police seized a vehcile in Darklands Road that was delivering takeaways without business insurance.

But the officers' attention might not have been alerted had the driver not been playing loud music on their rounds.

Swadlincote Safer Neighourhood Team's Facebook page sexplaind: "Pc Saddington was back on patrol with newbie Pc Becca Morris.

"They were on Darklands Road when a vehicle playing loud music, with blue headlights caught their attention.

"The delivery driver was delivering a take away without having business insurance.

"The vehicle was seized by the duo.

"Sorry, the takeaway was not delivered.

"Driver was reported for motoring offences and illegally modifying his vehicle."
