Swadlincote Police have reported widespread anti-social behaviour at parks across the area.
The town's Safer Neighbourhood Team say that there have been incidents at Woodville Park, Newhall Park and Oversetts playing field.
Officers will now be stepping up patrols in these areas this week - and have threatened to seize any vehicle involved in anti-social behaviour.
The SNT post reads: "We have some of the best parks in the Midlands that are maintained by the hardworking ground staff and South Derbyshire District Council.
"These parks are used by our community who take a lot of pride in the area they live in.
"Yet again we find ourselves having these parks damaged and ruined by a small minority of inconsiderate people.
"We have had reports of the trampoline being damaged at Woodville Park, littering, vehicle nuisance at Newhall park and Anti-Social Behaviour at Oversetts playing fields.
"The Safer Neighbourhood Team will be increasing the late patrols on all the parks and will be taking positive action against anyone caught committing any offence. "If you are found causing ASB with your vehicle, we will be seizing it."
