Swadlincote Police issue warning to anti-social motorbike riders in Stanton area

Swadlincote Police say there are clamping down on the use of nuisance motorbikes in the Stanton area.
Patrols are being stepped up and action has been promised against any riders using the bikes in an anti-social manner.
They say three riders were cautioned on Wednesday evening.
Swadlincote's Safer Neighbourhood Team said on their Facebook page: "We have received numerous complaints over the past couple of weeks of nuisance motorbikes around the Stanton area.
"Officers have been patrolling the area and have tonight (Wednesday) issued section 59 warnings to three of the riders.
"This is a notice not to cause any anti-social driving or to drive a vehicle off road otherwise it can be seized by ourselves and the driver dealt with for any offences.
"The patrols will continue in the area and positive action will be taken against any of the motorbike riders."
