Swadlincote Police say they are still getting reports of youngsters gathering in gangs - despite Coronavirus social distancing measures still being in place.

They have issued a stern warning to parents asking them if they know where their children are tonight.

And they have highlighted the dangers of mixing in groups and possibly coming home to spread the virus.

They posted on their Facebook page: "WHERE ARE YOUR KIDS TONIGHT?

"Are they on the park with their mates?

"Are they causing issues for others in the community?

"Are they social distancing?

"Or, are they spreading Corona?

"Are they bringing the virus home?

"We are still in lockdown.

"There is still a pandemic on-going but we are getting numerous calls of kids congregating in gangs.

"Let's hope that the only thing your kid brings home tonight is themselves."
