Swadlincote Police find cannabis grow in Newhall drugs raid

Swadlincote Police discovered cannabis plants in five areas of a house in Newhall.

Officers raided the address in Westwood Park and say that those responsible will be receiving a 'knock on th door' as a result.

Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team gave further details on their Facebook page.

The post reads: "LPU Group 2 Officers attended an address at Westwood Park, Newhall to find a substantial cannabis grow.

"Officers searched all rooms in the address including the loft and garage.

"Cannabis cultivation was found in the garage, loft and three rooms on the second floor.

"There are several positive leads to follow up so expect that knock on the door!"
