Swadlincote Police Find 29 Cannabis Plants: Man Is Questioned

Swadlincote Police discovered a cannabis grow in Midway on Wednesday morning and questioned a man about the plants.

The town's Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out a warrant and found 29 plants.

They posted on their Facebook page: "This morning, our team has been involved in carrying out a warrant in the Midway area.

"Twenty-nine mature cannabis plants were recovered and a male is currently helping police with their enquires.

"This investigation was led by a multi agency approach, with the help of South Derbyshire District Council."
