Swadlincote Police check in on seven dogs rescued from Linton property last month

Swadlincote Police have given an update on the dogs that were rescued from an address in Linton.

The animals were taken away from the property last month after being found in a poor condition.

But, after being taken in at Crowfoot Kennels at Church Broughton, the dogs' conditions have improved hugely.

Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team posted: "The team visited some of the pups rescued from our operations a short while ago.

"Some of them have had a much needed pampering session and although they may look a bit nervous, we've been reassured they feel much, much better after their haircuts and are really coming out of their shells!

"Crowfoot Kennels have been fantastic in caring for these dogs and they are seeing improvement every day.

There was a lot of fuss given and both dogs and officers came away much happier!:
