Swadlincote Police appeal for information after Newhall assault

Swadlincote Police have appealed for witnesses following an assault in Newhall.

The indcident took place outside the Big Fish shop in Newhall in March.

The victim was assaulted by two men on March 26.

The Swadlincote SNT Facebook page posted an appeal for information and said: "We are appealing for witness to come forward in relation to an assault the took place outside Big Fish, Newhall, on March 26, between 17:00 -18:00 hrs.

"The victim was assaulted by two males during this incident which was witnessed by several people who shouted "leave him alone".

"If you witnessed this incident, or have any information in relation to the assault, please send us a private message to Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team

"You can also anonymously contact the independent charity Crime stoppers, on 0800 555 111 and quote Occurrence 21*230793".
