Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team officers attended The Delph this morning (Thursday) and laid wreaths for Armistice Day.

They were joined by Inspector Mike Sisman of Derbyshire Constabulary.

Also present were representatives from Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, South Derbyshirel MP Heather Wheeler and local war veterans.

Swadlincote SNT's Facebook page said: "PCSO Badham-Spalding laid a wreath with words of remembrance for those who have lost their lives in the armed forces.

"The two minute silence was observed across the force by those who were able to do so, in line with their essential duties.

"We will remember them."
