The Salvation Army in Swadlincote are looking at ways at reopening again.

They are aiming to put measures in place at their thrift store and Drop In Community Cafe at 37-41 Market Street, Church Gresley which where they also offer community outreach.

A post on the Salvation Army Facebook page reads: "We are currently working at putting in place the measures necessary to enable us to reopen our thrift store and drop in cafe.

"There is much to do and we all look forward to being of service to you all as soon as possible.

"We also aim to ensure that when we do reopen our doors it is a safe environment for you, our volunteers and staff.

"We thank you for your patience in these difficult times and ask you to bear with us while we take these important steps.

"May we remind everyone that we remain currently unable to accept donations at this time."
