Sharpe's Saturday Talk In Swadlincote: Masqueraded Women In The Military

Sharpe's Pottery Museum in Swadlincote is staging its Saturday Talks again - and this week's features Bob Massey.

The talk will be inspired by 'International Woman's Week' and touching on subjects about 'masqueraded Women' and them joining the military.

Bob will be telling stories of women who, over the centuries, have masqueraded as men to join the military and other professions.

Entrance costs £5.00 per head including light refreshments and it starts at 10.30, running until 12.30.

Call the Museum on 01283 222600 to book or drop into reception and purchase your tickets personally. Booking is essential.
