Police 'very concerned' for missing man whose car was found in Linton

Police are 'very concerned' for the safety of a 48-year-old man whose car was found abandoned in Linton on Friday (11 Sept).

Officers located the car - a white Audi A6 - in Coton Park, close to Badgers Hollow, following a report of an abandoned vehicle shortly before 10.45pm.

Ian Summerhill has been reported missing from his home in Tamworth.

He is described as white, with a bald head and usually wears glasses.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen him, know of his whereabouts, or have any other information to contact Derbyshire Constabulary - quoting reference number 1217 of 11 September.
