Motorists are being advised to expect night-time delays in Midway from tomorrow (Mon) when carriageway resurfacing work gets underway.

Derbyshire County Council is resurfacing sections of the A511 Burton Road, B586 Midway Road and Sandcliffe Road.

Sections of the roads will be closed from 7pm to midnight each day and the work is expect to be completed by 9 October.

Burton Road will be closed to traffic from 50m north of its junction with Springfield Road and 50m east of its junction with Sandcliffe Road.

Midway will be shut between its junction with Burton Road and 50m south of the junction.

The affected section of Sandcliffe Road is between its junction with Burton Road and 50m north of the junction.

There will be multiple diversion routes, which will be signposted, and details can be found here.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of roads.
