A moped owner was surprised to get home to find Swadlincote police officers waiting for him.
The rider had been caught on video, causing anti-social behaviour, on the bike in Maurice Lea Park.
He was issued with a caution that he would have the moped seized if he were to be caught doing it again - as he was posing a danger to other park users.
Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team posted more details of the incident - along with a video - on their Facebook page: "A moped rider got a surprise when Local PCSO's Rachael and Dean were not happy on seeing this video of a moped causing anti-social behaviour.
"After doing their own little investigation, they identified the rider and some of the group.
"The moped owner was given a shock when he arrived home to find Jo and Alex waiting for him with some very unhappy parents.
"The rider was advised of the danger his actions could have caused to anyone else using the park.
"The 18-year-old daredevil has been issued a Sec 59 warning notice - this gives the police the power to seize his moped if he commits any ASB in the next 12 months.
"He was also issued a community protection warning notice not allowing him in any local parks for the next 12 months.
"The rider was very apologetic and was left to face the music from some very disappointed parents.
"Parents know what your children are up to!"
