Swadlincote Police followed up on leaked information of a different kind yesterday (Wednesday) - and discovered a 'large-scale' cannabis grow over two floors of a property in Woodville.
Police were called by a neighbour who reported water coming through the walls.
A closer inspection revealed it was caused a left-on tap used to water the cannabis plants.
A suspect has been identified and is helping police with enquiries.
Swadlincote's Safer Neighbourhood Team's Facebook page explained what happened.
Their post reads: "Officers were called to a property in Woodville yesterday after the occupant noticed water starting to come through joining walls.
"On looking through the windows of the neighbouring property it was clear to see there was a large water leak inside.
"Officers forced entry into the address and isolated the water, but it continued to leak.
"A further search of the property located a large scale cannabis grow on the first and second floor of the property.
"The cause of the water leak... a tap that was left turned on which watered the grow from the top floor!
"Forensic examination taken place, electric disconnected after it had been by-passed and cannabis grow dismantled.
"One suspect identified who is assisting us with our enquiries."
