A man has been arrested after a cannabis grow worth more than £100,000 was found at a property in Midway.
Swadlincote Police say it was 'an organised step up which was clearly funded by criminality'.
They added that the electrics had been by-passed and that the house, at 43, Hay Wain Lane, was unsafe to enter.
The find is reported to have been in 'various stages of growth' and police have been working dismantling it for days.
A social media post from Swadlincote's Safer Neighbourhood Team reads: "SNT & LPU officers have been spending the last few days dismantling a Cannabis grow at 43 Hay Wain Lane, Midway, Swadlincote.
