Another one of the eight dachshunds stolen from a village near Swadlincote in February has been found.

No details have been officially released yet, but a social media post says that one more has been recovered to add to the two that have already been found.

It means another five are still missing but more news is expected on Tuesday about the latest dog to be found.

The dogs were stolen from a property in Acresford three months ago Police appeal after dogs stolen from Acresford.

Since then, the search has extended nationwide to try and find them.

But this evening (Monday) a message posted on the 'Swadlincote 8 Stolen Dachshunds' Facebook page, reads: "We've got another one safe!!!!!

"No more info until tomorrow will be released, enquiries are ongoing... but another one is safe. Thank you, thank you, thank you, #swadlincote8".

A fresh appeal was made earlier this month Search continues for six stolen dogs.
